SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to construct images of complex media in form of a dynamic depth K(x, h) and/or total time section T(x, t). The disclosed method involves scanning the wave field An(x, t) with beam tracing of virtual hodographs on n seismograms recorded by m seismic receivers via multifold profiling. Scanning is carried out with pseudo in-phase accumulation along the virtual hodographs of m single signals and from ρ signals in each train of oscillations Fρm, picked up by the seismic receivers from q aspect angles of seismic boundaries. Reliability scanning windows are constructed based on displaying functional matrices Km(α, V) and/or Kmin(α, V), Fρm(α, V) and/or Fρmin(α, V), and/or energy thereof Fw(α, V) in form of isolines, histograms and or other methods. The maximum of the statistical analysis functional Fmax(α, V) is found, the OT and the most probable angle of incidence of the boundary at the preliminary depth section A(x, h) are recorded. The remaining neighbouring points of the dynamic depth K(x, h) and total time section T(x, t) with given increment of coordinates are recorded.
EFFECT: high accuracy of obtained results.
