BUCKET ELEVATOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2233067 C1

FIELD: agricultural engineering; transport facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation mechanisms and it can be used for lifting grain material in grain driers and grain cleaning sets. Proposed bucket elevator has housing with driving and driven drums and traction member installed in housing. Housing consists of hood with shoe and head. Buckets are secured on traction member. Two elastic plates are cantilever installed in elevator housing in place of shoe-to-hood connection from side of working zone. Free ends of elastic plates are pointed to each other. Mounting of said plates in elevator at beginning of grain lifting improves distribution of loose grain material in buckets and reduces damaging of grain owing to removing excess grain in buckets by means of plates at beginning of grain lifting.

EFFECT: prevention of damage to grain at handling.
