FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with studying human psychophysiological features. Ocular vision field should be screened against other light flows. The flow of flashing light should be supplied onto central retinal part, the range of altering flash rate being 0.1-5 Hz. Flash rate should be discretely altered to give an operator the chance to mentally detect the duration of the pause between flashes for every value of discrete frequency. One should fix the value and detect the mistakes of mental measurements made by an operator on the duration of pauses between flashes. One should detect relative deviations of current values of critical rate of flash blending and mistakes of mental measurements made by an operator on duration of pauses between them against the values of the same characteristics obtained at initial (after the rest) state of an operator, and according to them it is possible to perform diagnostics of operator's state.

EFFECT: increased reliability of diagnostics.
