FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: one should pre-screen visual field of a patient under testing against other light flows. Light flows of constant and flashing light should be formed due to point-source of light which should be coincided with ocular visual axis. As a flow of flashing light it is necessary to apply a flow being altered by sinusoidal rules. The increase of flashings' amplitude should be carried out due to increasing the amplitude of alternating sinusoidal light flow, as for visual fatigue degree (VFD) it should be evaluated in accordance to the following formula: VFD = (Ay-Ao)x100%/Ay, where VFD - visual fatigue degree; Ao - mean value for the amplitude of alternating sinusoidal light flow (amplitude of flashings), obtained for an eye in its initial (rest) state; Ay - mean value for the amplitude of alternating sinusoidal light flow (amplitude of flashings), obtained for an eye in its fatigued state.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
