FIELD: materials for miscellaneous applications.
SUBSTANCE: method includes producing granules from a compressed mixture of salts of alkaline and/or alkaline-earth metals including approximately from 15 to 45% in dry mass of the total dry mass of compressed mixture of the first salt of alkaline or alkaline-earth metal and from 85 to approximately 55% in dry mass of the total mass of compressed mixture of the second salt of alkaline or alkaline-earth metal. The first salt is a hygroscopic salt, where the sum of components is 100% of the dry mass. The compressed mass is produced by mixing the first and second salts, where the second salt is a saturated saline solution, and pressing the mixture.
EFFECT: improved capabilities of melting.
