FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steel for atomic technique designated for making fast-neutron reactor with liquid-metallic heat-carrier member heat-releasing member jackets. Invention claims austenite steel comprising components taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon, 0.05-0.08; silicon, 0.3-0.6; manganese, 1.0-2.0; sulfur, 0.012, not above; phosphorus, 0.020, not above; chrome, 15.5-17.0; nickel, 14.0-15.5; molybdenum, 1.9-2.5; titanium, 0.2-0.5; vanadium, 0.1-0.3; boron, 0.002-0.005; nitrogen, 0.02, not above; cobalt, 0.02, not above; aluminum, 0.1, not above; magnesium, 0.0001-0.005; calcium, 0.0005-0.005; iron, the balance. The ratio of titanium content to carbon content is 4, not less. Invention provides reducing form changing of heat-releasing members at radiation irradiation due to enhanced resistance against swelling in simultaneous retention of mechanical properties and corrosion stability under condition of elevated temperature and providing the technological effectiveness.
EFFECT: valuable properties of steel.
