FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressors.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for triaxial compression of air or any air mixture. Proposed compressor contains housing with intake and outlet channels, movable rotor with two inner through mating planes with double-acting piston having mating planes installed coaxially in housing with clearance for rotation, shaft installed eccentrically relative to housing. Rotor is of ring type, its inner through mating planes are made equal to length of rotor, piston and housing, and intake-outlet distributing ports are made between rotor mating planes for alternate interaction with intake and outlet channels of housing and in-turn and alternating relative to each other shifting of gas timing phase through 180o at suction and compression processes in working chambers precluding return of compressed working medium into compression chamber at compression stroke.
EFFECT: increased specific power output, capacity, reduced energy consumption, simplified design of compressor.
