FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary engine comprises two-section cylindrical stationary housing divided by crosswise baffle into two sections with intake and exhaust openings. Each section accommodates rotor with radial groove rigidly jointed with common shaft and arranged with surface contact in face part of the housing and with liner contact in its cylindrical part. Separation baffle is made up of three-layer sliding shutter with labyrinth seal for tight permanent fit to housing and arranged in radial groove of each rotor to radial displace to form variable-volume chambers. "П"-like seal is fitted in the zone of permanent linear contact between rotor and housing along cylindrical generatrix and continuation along face surface on both sides of rotor shaft. There are two compression chambers. Two distribution valves make the engine gas distribution system. Said distribution valves are made up of cylindrical cores with cutouts to match housing opening sizes. Complete operating cycles in both sections occurs in two shaft revolutions. Suction via opened intake opening and compression occurs in one section. Working stroke and exhaust via opened exhaust opening occurs in the other section.
EFFECT: compact design, reduced weight and sizes.
