FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the measuring equipment and intended for an on-the-fly sensing of clearance s, an eccentricity, unevenness, geometrical sizes and relocations of a machine components and gears. The method provides, that at first a basic measurement is conducted, then the clearance is changed by a reference value in direction of its increase or decrease and measure the changed clearance once more. The reference value of the clearance change is given proceeding from the direction of the clearance variation and the given inaccuracy of measurements. Then they measure the reference value of the clearance and determine the values of the measured clearances on the basis of the specified figures of parameters of the calibration characteristic. The method allows to measure with a heightened accuracy the clearances between a measuring converter and moving elements of machines and mechanisms.
