FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to development of hardware and methods of contactless measurement of surface irregularities, geometrical sizes, eccentricity and travel of the machine assembly units and parts. Invention allows a notable increase in accuracy of measurements of profiles, micro geometry and eccentricity of controlled surfaces of rotary components of machines and mechanisms in dynamic operating conditions. Measurement of the gap between the instrument transducer and controlled surface incorporates carrying out a reference measurement, variation of the gap by a value no less than a reference one, effecting additional measurement of changed gap and correcting the values of measured gaps allowing for the results of the reference and additional measurements, as well as the values of standard gap variation. The results of the aforesaid measurements are defined as mean values of a series of measurements with a preset accuracy of approximation to the limiting value. The minimum value of the reference gap variation is defined proceeding from the error of determining the results of reference and additional measurements, those of preset tolerable accuracy of measurements, the gap variation by the preset value and the gap value to be corrected. The surface profile is defined proceeding from the corrected mean values of gaps of whatever series on consecutive measurements wherein the gap maximum value does not exceed that used for selection of the gap reference variation.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements of profiles, micro geometry and eccentricity of controlled surfaces of rotary components of machines and mechanisms in dynamic operating conditions.
