FIELD: hydrometry and static hydrology of river level conditions; ecological monitoring of rivers and their bank regions; determination of marks of water edge boundaries, slope of rivers, plotting free cross-sections by characteristics of water flows.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes leveling of river free surface from bench marks located along one of banks and calculating excess between nearest points of height net and preset points on river surface. Marks of water free surface in river are determined on river by means of two theodolites from watercraft by trigonometric leveling method. Measurements are made at different time from initial range to final range of river by at least one crew of hydrologists.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and efficiency of measurements.
