FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the measuring technique and may be used for a measurement of consumption and quantity of liquid mediums. The vortex flowmeter contains a streamline body with a through slot-type channel, an electrode plate fixed in it as a cantilever, that is electrically linked with the streamline body, and a rod electrode. The secondary converter of the flowmeter contains a generator with large on-off pulse ratio, output of which through a resistor and a capacitor is connected to the rod electrode and to the input of a synchronous detector (an electronic key with a storage capacitor) connected to in series linked to an amplifier - pulse former, a unit of a phase automatic frequency control and a pulse counter. The invention allows to heighten accuracy and reliability of the vortex flowmeter operation.
