FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: vortex flow meter comprises a bluff body installed in a pipeline with a through slot channel aligned perpendicularly to the pipeline axis, two rod electrodes, a plate electrode arranged between them and a secondary converter. At the same time the slot channel is closed with a sleeve tightly placed onto the bluff body and made of a thin elastic material, and the bluff body comprises inlet and outlet channels.

EFFECT: possibility to measure flow rate of contaminated non-electroconductive flammable and chemically aggressive media.
