FIELD: direct solar-to-electric energy conversion using semiconductor solar cells mainly for feeding spacecraft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed solar-battery flexible module disposed on supporting surface in the form of flexible frame-mounted gauze membrane has solar cells interconnected by means of metal buses and covered on face and rear ends with shielding glass plates. Boards such as those of foiled film insulator are installed on edges of glass plates covering adjacent series-connected solar cells on rear end of module. A number of holes are provided on boars, at least two ones being disposed above gaps between adjacent solar cells. Loose ends of unlike-polarity buses are passed through holes from contacts of adjacent solar cells and connected to metallized layer of board. Insulating layer of board is joined with glass plates.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, enhanced reparability of module.
