FIELD: devices for fixing and adjusting instruments, various antennas, and the like.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device has case accommodating spherical joint secured therein, its spherical surface being engageable with inner surface of case and movable insert with concave spherical surface. Other end of insert is engageable through intermediate disk with arresting member eccentric disposed and loosely fastened inside case by means of arresting member whose axis is perpendicular to that of inner cylinder of case. Flexible arresting member is made in the form of trapezium-shaped plate whose ribs contact inner cylindrical surface of case, and U-shaped slot contacts annular drilling of arresting member. End surface of case bears trapezoid-shaped radial slots perpendicular to its longitudinal axis which are commensurable with conical part of spherical joint shank. Radial slots are engageable with spherical joint shank in its extreme positions. Case is secured on base for angular displacement and its locking screw is engageable with base. Spherical joint shank has curvilinear surface in the form of polygon turning into truncated cone facing spherical surface. Movable insert is made in the form of cylinder made of antifriction material and intermediate disk, of frictional material.

EFFECT: enlarged viewing angle in bearing and elevation, ability of viewing in roll, facilitated maintenance.
