FIELD: forest industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves felling trees by means of first harvester in process corridor to width providing passage of first and second harvesters and laying trees behind first harvester with butt ends oriented in machine advancement direction; upon completion of said process by first harvester, driving first harvester from said corridor and driving skidding machine into said corridor in direction opposite direction of driving out of first harvester; hauling felled trees from said corridor; after setting free of trees in said corridor, driving second harvester into the latter in direction of advancement of first harvester and felling trees in zones arranged behind this machine while working out swath to width equal to doubled extension of manipulator of second harvester; laying trees in process corridor behind said harvester; driving second harvester from said corridor upon completion of felling process; introducing skidding machine into said corridor in direction opposite direction of withdrawal of second harvester; hauling trees felled by second harvester from said corridor.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced angular movements of rotary platform of harvester manipulator, reduced damage to undergrowth and soil beyond said corridor and improved ecological characteristics of full-tree harvesting process.
