FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the forest industry and forestry and can be used when performing logging operations. The method includes partitioning logging areas for cutting blocks, which territory is divided into five bands: runway, two bands adjacent to the runway, two bands removed from the runway, and provides tree felling and limbing using chainsaws and tree skidding using timber harvesting machine. Limbing is performed on the runway from trees felled the crown on the runway, and from trees skidded to the runway by the manipulator machine in a suspended position.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce the area occupied by loading points and runways, which enables to increase the safety of the undergrowth left for completion of growing.
