FIELD: tools and devices for mechanical processing of materials by cutting, in particular, needle cutting.

SUBSTANCE: needle cutting apparatus has spindle, disks mounted on spindle, each of said disks being equipped with peripheral openings for attachment of V-shaped bundles of wire piles and immovable flanges for fixation of disks on spindle. Apparatus is further equipped with additional flange positioned for axial movement, and mechanism for axial displacement of said flange. Said mechanism includes cylinder immovably fixed on spindle working end, movable piston, on which additional flange is fixed, and return compression springs. Needle cutting apparatus of such construction may be used for trimming of welded joints and for cleaning of surfaces of metal and other articles from corrosion and scale.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of processing of surfaces.
