FIELD: medicine, cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: one should register the largest CO2 value in expired air at the end of calm expiration. Measurements should be carried out at the state of rest and at small physical loading. At decreased registered value in case of loading one should diagnose heart failure. The method enables to evaluate contractile cardiac function and diagnose heart failure according to alterations in pulmonary gas exchange.
