FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has rod having rest flange and neck. Rectangular groove open towards external wall of the rod and closed on the internal wall side is produced in proximal part of the rod in perpendicular to its longitudinal axis below the rest flange. The groove repeats with its internal end facet approximate shape of stem rod generatrix at this place. Flat slide bar is mounted in the groove so that translation movement is allowed in the direction set in perpendicular to longitudinal axis of the rod. The flat slide bar has mortise slots on the lateral surface and end faces beveled in perpendicular to its lateral facets towards the distal part. End surface of the slide bar turned towards the external wall has sharpened shape. Upper part of the rest flange communicates with the rectangular groove by means of threaded hole receives cylindrical key performing translation movement. The key has mortise grooves matching the slide bar mortise grooves. The cylindrical key has dead threaded hole in its upper end. Screw is set into the threaded hole of the rest flange.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of injuries due to operation; simplified stem removal when repeatedly setting the endoprosthesis.
