FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has head, neck, trochanteric part and pedicle. The pedicle has tetrahedral wedge shape with rectangular cross-section, longitudinal parallel ribs on frontal and back trochanteric part surfaces and upper pedicle part. The ribs are shaped as triangular three-dimensional wedges of trapezoid cross-section, decreasing in height when moving in medial part direction and in their distal segments. The ribs are also shortened in length in medial parts of anterior and posterior surfaces of the trochanteric part. The ribs are removable, and movable and fixable when making dovetail connection. To do it, longitudinal grooves with bilateral undercuts are produced on trochanteric part and upper part of the pedicle. Setting parts of the ribs look like equilateral trapezoid prisms turned with their greater lateral sides outward. They are designed as rib butts for making connection with guiding grooves.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of traumatic complications at prosthesis pedicle and trochanter-setting stage.
