FIELD: water desalinating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed evaporative desalting plant contains evaporator with reservoir with free level of liquid communicating through steam blower with condensing device, heat exchanger for heating cold sea water to be desalinated, distillate and brine discharge channels. Reservoir with free level of liquid is furnished with vortex chamber communicating with cavitation-vortex heat generator to form circulation circuit of desaltable liquid in evaporator and separation chamber communicating with said circulation circuit communicating with brine discharge channel. To simplify additionally design of desalting, plant increase stability of working process and efficiency of desalting plant, cavitation vortex heat generator is placed in communication through nozzle tangentially with inlet of evaporator vortex chamber. Evaporator reservoir is made axially symmetric and vertical containing built-in heat exchanger of condensing device and is furnished with horizontal partitions forming additional spaces, upper space of which is furnished with spraying nozzles.
EFFECT: improved efficiency, elimination of deposition of salts in evaporator, reduced service expenses.
