FIELD: chemical industry; ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy; solutions desalting technology using a method of an electrodialysis.
SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an electrodialyzer and is dealt with the solutions desalting technology using a method of an electrodialysis, in particular, it is dealt with designs of the multichamber electrodialyzers supplied with the ionite membranes used for clearing of solutions, suspensions and pulps, electrolytes and non-electrolytes, etc. The electrodialyzers may be used in the chemical industry, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and also in the allied industries. The electrodialyzer contains: the basic butt-type electrodes; the internal additional electrodes dividing the electrodializer into sections; the opposite poles ionic-selective membranes and the separating gaskets in which there are no less than three apertures for routes of the initial solutions feeding and removal of products of desalination; branch pipes of the initial solution feeding and removal of products of the electrodialysis process. In the center of each section of the electrodialyzer there is a partition made out of a water-proof and nonelectroconductive material with two apertures for routes. The technical result is a decrease of unproductive consumption of the electric power due to break of the current conductive circuits formed by the routes of the dialyzate and concentrate and an increase of a degree the water desalination due to change of directions of streams in the apparatus.
EFFECT: the invention allows to decrease power consumption and to increase degree of the water desalination.
