FIELD: de-mineralizing water by electrodialysis in electrodialyzers provided with ion-exchange membranes. SUBSTANCE: proposed electrodialyzer has electrodes with ion- exchange membranes and gaskets placed between them; holes made in their opposite ends are used for forming passages for delivery of starting water and discharge of dialyzate and concentrate. Holes of membranes and gaskets used for forming passages for discharge of concentrate and dialyzate are provided with dielectric tubes over entire height of electrodialysis stack.
