FIELD: FIELD: production of catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with a method of production of catalysts with improved catalytic properties. It is pertinent to the area of production of catalysts. The method provides for deposition of one or more catalytically active metals on a carrying agent. At that the method includes selection of the carrying agent and deposition on this carrying agent of one or more catalytically active metals. The deposition is conducted by immersing the carrying agent into a solution for impregnation. At that activity of hydrogenous ions in this solution for impregnation is reduced. Besides the invention falls into to the area of accelerators produced by this method. In the given instances silver and promoter are deposited on the carrying agent from aluminum oxide at the presence of tetraethylammonium hydroxide. The technical result: these catalysts are suitable for use in production of ethylene oxide.
