FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to service equipment of road vehicles and it can be used to protect vehicle sump its body from liquid flow in process of operation in water medium. Proposed directed flow deflector is essentially shaped geometric profile part of rectangular from made of sheet rubber with four radius rounded-off portions. Fin is found on flat surface of sheet edge from working side equal to 25% of sheet profile part in height. Five projections from gates-rubbers mainly of triangular form with sides with rounded-off top are arranged under fin over periphery. Non-working surface of deflector is provided with peripheral open frame with radius surface and projecting profile up to 0.3-1 mm. Radius surfaces of open frame are mated with flat surface of contour whose with "B" exceeds with of contour of open frame, being not greater than 20±2 mm in all. Inner surface of contour and inner profile of open contour of frame are mated with two rows of different in width opposite blunt-angled profiles relative to plane of plate, whose number is equal to seven.
EFFECT: improved technological capabilities of new design flow deflector.
