DEVICE FOR LIFTING DUMP TRUCK TO QUARRY SIDE EDGE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering; quarry vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for lifting dump trucks to quarry side edge at open-cast mining. Proposed device contains two wheeled bogies designed for mounting two loaded and two empty dump trucks, parallel inclined tracks for bogies mechanically interconnected by system of two multiple-reeved pulley blocks, ratio 4 minimum. Central sheave and fixed casings of pulley blocks are arranged at side of quarry, each bogie is provided with two pairs of parallel axles with support rollers orientated perpendicularly to longitudinal axis of dump truck and installed with clearances relative to each other for resting on support rollers of dump truck driven wheels. Sheaves of each movable casing are installed for independent rotation on one fixed axle orientated square to plane of rail track and are mechanically coupled with parallel axles by means of shafts, gear and chain drives. One of said pairs of axles is coupled with even sheaves, and the other, with odd sheaves of movable casing. Shafts mechanically coupled with even and odd sheaves are additionally connected to each other by intermediate chain drive. Each bogie is provided with electric drive mechanically coupled with said intermediate chain drive.

EFFECT: increased capacity of device lifting dump trucks to quarry side and lowering them in quarry by increasing speed of bogies in proportion to increase of bogie drive power.
