FIELD: hydrometallurgy; extraction of gold from auriferous arsenical ores and concentrates of different mineral composition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes floatation concentration of starting raw material, bio-oxidation of concentrate, two-stage neutralization of products of bio-oxidation, sorption cyanidation and desorption of gold and silver. Floatation of ores and concentrates are performed in presence of 1-2 mg/l of cyanides; bio-oxidation is performed at two stages at temperature of 34-36 C, after which bio-oxidation product pulp is subjected to neutralization. Sorption cyanidation is performed in neutralized pulp of bio-oxidation products at concentration of cyanides of 400-500 mg/l. Neutralization of pulp of bio-oxidation products may be performed at first stage by means of carbonates from floatation concentration tailings. Part of pulp together with bacterium biomass from second stage of bio-oxidation may be returned to first stage.
EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency of process.
