FIELD: processes of extractive separation of actinides from nitric acid solutions of radiochemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using as diluent or one of components of diluent of tributyl phosphate compounds pertaining to monobasic alcohol group, with volumetric part of alcohol in extractive mixture being at least 10%; providing re-extraction of uranium and tetravalent actinides with nitric acid solutions of 0.1-5 mol/l concentration; separating uranium and tetravalent actinides by varying concentration of nitric acid in aqueous phase. Method allows reducing re-extraction process to avoided. Re-extraction of base components is provided by using nitric acid of 0.1-5 mol/l concentration to prevent probability of hydrolysis processes in said solutions and to increase content of light diluent-based extractant in tetravalent actinides.
EFFECT: simplified process by avoiding reducing processes, provision for re-extraction of said components in solutions with high nitric acid concentration and increased content of light diluent-based extractant in tetravalent actinides.
