FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, hydraulic metallurgical methods for processing of ores by heap leaching or in-situ leaching processes.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing leaching solutions comprising sulfuric acid; filtering said solutions through ore and converting uranium, iron and other metals into filtrates; extracting uranium from filtrates accompanied with obtaining of mother liquor. Leaching solutions are prepared by processing of liquid phase with sulfur dioxide and oxygen-containing gas to obtain sulfuric acid and sulfurous acid, with total concentration of sulfuric acid and sulfurous acid in leaching solutions being maintained within the range of 3-30 g/l, preferably 5-20 g/l. Concentration ratio of trivalent and bivalent iron is maintained at the level below 0.5.
EFFECT: reduced costs and intensified leaching process.
