SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy and can be used for extraction of uranium from ore by subsurface leaching. Claimed process differs from known methods in that prepared leaching solution combined with sodium nitrate is additionally processed with oxygen-bearing agent with correction of redox potential of leaching solution by keeping the ratio between the concentration of ions of ferric iron and ferrous iron of at least 0.5. Oxygen-bearing agent is fed directly into the leaching solution feed line, hence, into the well.
EFFECT: accelerated leaching, lower input of reagents, 15% reduction in costs.
