FIELD: building industry, particularly for driving elements into soil.
SUBSTANCE: device has clamp connected to support, lever and wedge shoes arranged in body on roller bearings and provided with return springs and with latches for wedge shoes fixation in extreme lower, opened, position during earth connection electrodes placing into ground. Body is movably arranged on slide rails connected to clamp and having finger for pivotally connection thereof with lever. Lever is joined to body by axle.
EFFECT: creation of optimal conditions for electrode securing into device, prevention of electrode bending during placing thereof into ground, possibility to regulate force applied to electrode during pressing thereof in soil, increased efficiency and reliability, enhanced performance and quality of work, possibility of placing thin electrodes provided with mounting members welded thereto into soil, extended field of application.
