FIELD: water supply instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed water meter contains housing divided by partition with bushing into chamber with working member and chamber of reducing and metering mechanism mechanically coupled with shaft of working member passing with clearance through bushing. Diffuser with internal cycloidal jigs in form of spring-like plates designed for directing hard particles in metered liquid is installed at liquid inlet. Working member is made in form of curvilinear blades with screw-like grooves on their surface and ring diaphragm on end.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation and accuracy of readings owing to exclusion of colmatage.
