FIELD: biochemical treatment of sewage waters by method of biofiltration. SUBSTANCE: device has a body accommodating charge, sprinkler, and cylindrical vessel separated by vertical circular partition into chambers of mineralization and settling. Located coaxially to the body is guide tube connected with sprinkler. Rotor is installed in lower part of tube along its axis. Installed under guide tube is conical partition separating mineralization zone from zone of collection of mineralized sediments. Located between vertical circular partition and conical partition is annular slot to pass liquid from mineralized zone to zone of settling. Guide nose is installed above annular slot. Sprinkler is made in the form of conical diffuser with perforated lower wall. Device also has a tube for supply of initial liquid, circular trough for collection of purified liquid and tube for sediment discharge. Installed on end of initial liquid supply pipeline is narrowing nozzle whose internal surface has curved helical grooves. Guide tube accommodates helical conductors. Sprinkler upper part is made in the form of Aniesi lock. Located on internal surface of sprinkler lower part are cylindrical spiral guides.
