FIELD: electric heaters for industrial and domestic use as local heaters of motor-car seats, armchairs, and the like.
SUBSTANCE: proposed portable removable low-inertia electric heater characterized in that it does not require expensive and scarce materials, is easily brought to operating conditions and can be fed from low-voltage dc power supplies including vehicle storage batteries, and that it may be found useful as physiotherapeutic heat-massage means has flexible insulated heating conductor 1 and plurality of reinforcing massage elements 2 made in the form of bodies of revolution and/or shaped-section bodies provided with holes 3 and interconnected by weaving on flexible junction member 4. Flexible insulated heating conductor 1 is inserted in holes 3 of at least part of reinforcing massage elements 2. This flexible electric heater may be made in the form of massage jacket on vehicle seat.
EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture, improved flexibility, strength, and comfort; enlarged functional capabilities.
