FIELD: electric engineering, possible use, for example, for drying wood, heating liquids, manufacturing heated covers, blankets, clothing, for heating.
SUBSTANCE: electric heater consists of two layers of electro-isolating base with resistive element in form of current-conductive heating layer, connected to current-feeding conductors, positioned between the layers. Each current-conductive conductor is made in form of a pair of superposed stripes with thickness h=0,1÷0,3 millimeters, between which the ends of the resistive element are positioned. The stripes in each pair are mutually fastened by soldering, and all layers of flexible electric heater are connected to each other by glue, by heating the thermoplastic material or by sewing the layers. In process of soldering the stripes are compressed by applying compression pressure P=0,1÷40 MPa, while 1≤P/h≤40.
EFFECT: increased manufacturability and universality of the flexible electric heater.
