FIELD: electric heating. SUBSTANCE: cloth-type electric heater has conducting filament placed in zigzag manner in crosswise direction and secured in electroinsulating cloth to form sections separated by portions of this cloth and at least along one of its edges there are power supply filaments connected to those of each section on mentioned portions of cloth. Such connection of conducting filaments is assembly that clamp of low-resistance conducting material with portion of conducting thread of at least one section wound on it and power supply filament welded to it. Clamp is secured through its bent ends to cloth. Conducting filament may be stranded conductor covered with fibrous insulating sheath throughout its entire length, with the exception of connection assembly sections.
