FIELD: autoclave-hydrometallurgical processing of pyrrhotite-containing raw material.

SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing basic material in water pulp with inorganic sulfur-containing admixture; providing autoclave oxidizing leaching of sulfides under pressure of molecular oxygen at temperature above sulfur melting temperature in the presence of hydrocarbon surfactant, with non-ferrous metals being converted into solution, sulfur being converted into elemental sulfur and iron - into oxides; additionally introducing into basic material pulp flotation regulating reactant of amphoteric polymer class and using sulfide of alkaline and/or alkaline-earth metals as inorganic sulfur-containing admixture at flotation regulating reactant, sulfide sulfur of inorganic admixture and pyrrhotite weight ratio being 1:(0.003-0.250):(50-620); mixing resultant mixture for 10-100 min at temperature of 20-900C; using inorganic sulfur-containing admixture such as monosulfides, hydrosulfides and/or polysulfides of alkaline and/or alkaline metals; using flotation regulating reactant of amphoteric polymer class such as carboxymethyl cellulose and/or cellulose sulfate, and/or sulfite-cellulose alkali, and/or lignosulfonates. Inorganic sulfur-containing admixture is used in the form of calcium polysulfide-thiosulfate sulfuric conversion decantation resulted from reprocessing of pyrrhotite-containing material.
