FIELD: magnetic separation of loose materials; glass-making, mining and ceramic industries; metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: proposed separator includes conveyer belt, feeder for delivery of product to conveyer belt, frame on which drive magnetic roller with permanent magnet system and tension non-magnetic roller are mounted. Separator is additionally provided with unit for change of angle of inclination of conveyer belt relative to horizontal plane; delivery part of feeder is mounted above zone of beginning of conjugation of belt with magnetic roller. Unit for change of angle of inclination is made in form of hinge secured in center portion of separator frame or in form of motion mechanism of tension non-magnetic roller over circle relative to axis of magnetic roller or in form of non-magnetic roller pressing the conveyer belt.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation.
