FIELD: machines for multiple multi-strand drawing of wire.

SUBSTANCE: drawing machine includes drawing die holders whose number is equal to that of successive drawing operations. Drawing die holder includes drawing dies in quantity corresponding to that of strands. Common for all strands intermediate pulling apparatuses with wire sliding are arranged between drawing die holders and they include group of pulling rollers mounted successively at intervals, rotation drive unit of pulling rollers and carriage movable in cross direction. On carriage in front of each interval between pulling rollers there is by-passing roller whose diameter is less than width of interval between pulling rollers. Each by-passing roller is joined drive unit for rotating it in direction opposite relative to rotation direction of pulling rollers at the same linear velocity.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of drawing machine due to gradual wide-range regulation of pulling effort.
