FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: line is intended for making wire by radial method, that is, by lengthwise cutting of strip material followed by multistrand machining of wire including multistrand drawing. Said line incorporates unwinder, butt welding assembly, gang disc shears for lengthwise cutting, wire rib machining assembly, wire multistrand drawing assembly, and drawing device. Said wire multistrand drawing assembly is equipped revolving drawing dies in number equal to that of strands, drive of rotation and friction kinematic gearing engaging drive of rotation with drawing dies. Transmitted force is increased to increase drawing die rpm by configuring friction transmission of two rings 11 and 13 arranged coaxially to run in opposite directions at identical linear speed. Drawing dies 18 are fitted in cylindrical cases 17 and arranged circularly between said rings. Every ring has flange made on surface facing die body. Note here that front end surface 19 is pressed against flange 12 of one ring while rear end surface 20 of die body is pressed to flange 14 of the other ring. Aforesaid wire rib machining assembly is composed of rib cutters 24 fitted in the other cylindrical cases 23 arranged circularly to rotate around wire and engaged with the drive via another similar kinematic transmission.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cutting.
