FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vibration dampers of freight car bogies. Friction plate is made in form of omega section with value of bending directly proportional to thickness of friction plate. Horizontal surface of section coincides with working surface of friction plate and its flanges, with nonworking surfaces.
EFFECT: reduced impact loads, increased service life and stability of operation of friction vibration damper.
