FIELD: optical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: according to method, spectral composition of radiation flows is changed firstly by using spectral IR filters. Spectral composition of mentioned flows is changed second time by means of cutting filters which filters limit spectral characteristic of goggles in short-wave spectral range. Radiation flows, changed twice, form current of photocathode of electron-optical converters of pilot night vision goggles, which current does not excess threshold level of visual forming of "halos" around images at standardized conditions of illumination of photocathode of electron-optical converter of pilot night vision goggles.
EFFECT: higher level of vision.
