FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of glasses employed for manufacturing foamed material that can be used in construction industry as effective heat insulation material, said composition (additionally including S2- ion) being the following, wt %: SiO2 43.39-54.99, Al2O3 7.52-9.69, Fe2O3 1.69-1.95, CaO 11,96-22.08, MgO 0.93-1.05, Na2O 10.43-16.56, K2O 3.21-3.76, MnO 0.04-0.06, TiO2 0.32-0.43, SO3 0.21-0.35, S2- 0.34-0.60.
EFFECT: reduced cost, lowered glass melting temperature and foaming temperature.
