FIELD: polymer production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparation of polyol composition containing material in the form of dispersed particles constituting 30 to 80% of the weight of composition. Isocyanate-reactive compound containing multiple hydroxyl group, primary and/or secondary amino groups, and having equivalent mass up to 400 is emulsified in polyol having equivalent mass 1000 to 5000 and average hydroxyl functionality 2-6 at 60-100оС under mixing conditions at high shear loadings. Polyisocyanate is gradually added to thus prepared emulsion maintaining temperature within 60 to 120оС and preserving high shear loading conditions. When all amount of polyisocyanate is added, reaction mixture is allowed to stay for further 10 min to 2 h at temperature within 60 to 20оС and without agitation, after which resulting composition is cooled to room temperature.
EFFECT: enabled preparation of PIPA-polyols with high content of material in the form of particles with low viscosity and good stability.
