FIELD: polymer materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stabilized compositions based on functionalized polyolefins, more particularly to stabilized compositions based on polyolefins functionalized by carboxylic acids, their esters, their anhydrides, and metal salts. Composition of invention contains (i) polyethylene functionalized by at least one functionalization agent selected from carboxylic acids, their esters, their anhydrides, and metal salts and (ii) one or several stabilizers containing one or several spatially hindered phenol groups and optionally containing no more than one ester group, at least one of stabilizers being 1,3,5-trimethyl-2,4,6-tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydoxybenzyl)benzene. Invention also provides method of preparing indicated compositions and compositions for achieving compatibility of polyethylene with polymers, fillers, and metallic substrates, which are otherwise incompatible with polyethylene. Claimed stabilizers are proposed to stabilize functionalized polyethylene.
