CHARCOAL KILN WITH THERMAL FLUX REGULATOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: automatic controlling of wood pyrolysis process in mobile charcoal kilns.

SUBSTANCE: charcoal kiln has outer heat insulating housing and inner casing, is equipped with sealing door and detachable container with slit-shaped recesses, transportation devices and utilizable waste collectors, two diagonally arranged suction devices built in lower part of outer housing and having adjustable shutters. Thermal flux channel has discrete three-position change-over switch connected with temperature sensors, which are built in inner casing and arranged at points of temperature indicating at maximal reliability extent characteristic pyrolysis modes. Ejector openings with variable diameter of nozzle are formed in unstable heat flux zone. Upper dome of casing is made in the form of paraboloid.

EFFECT: improved quality and quantity characteristics of wood pyrolysis process, reduced losses of heat carrier owing to more useful utilization of thermal field of gas fluxes.
