FIELD: defense industry; production of military technical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the field of military technical equipment, in particular to the means of the solders personal protection. The carcass of a protective helmet is made out of the layers of a ballistic fabric fastened by a binding agent with a supporting ring placed inside it. The ring is made out of an elastic ballistic material, for example - titanium. On the butt of the ring there are flat curvilinear springs, through which the ring is fixed to the carcass by screws. Use of the invention provides an increase of ballistic resistance strength of the protective helmet.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase ballistic resistance strength of the protective helmet.
