FIELD: radar engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method depends on matched filtration and amplification of signal and filtration of its envelope, comparison of filtered-off wave with threshold value set depending on noise level within time space including probable signal reception interval by way of additional filtration conducted together with main one; in the process frequency-modulated signals are additionally filtered in coordination with signal obeying frequency variation law of polarity reverse to that of working-signal frequency variation law. Device implementing proposed method has matched filter, envelope detector, subtracting unit, threshold unit, additional matched filter and envelope detector; additional filter is matched with signal obeying frequency variation law for internal-pulse frequency modulation reverse to that of working signal; input of additional matched filter is connected to that of device.
EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity, facilitated detection of radar signals.
