FIELD: radar ranging.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used in radar stations with phase-shift keyed probing signals for protection from anticipatory signal-like interference. In the disclosed method, performing the received signal two-channel filtering processing: in the main channel consistent with the probing signal, in the additional channel consistent with the known structure interference, amplitude detection of filtered signal in both channels, comparing the signal detected by amplitude in the main channel with the detection threshold set based on the given false alarm level and the processing results in the additional channel. Wherein phase-shift keyed signals with low cross-correlation level are used in adjacent soundings. Main channel filter is matched with the signal emitted in the current probing and the additional channel filter is matched with the signal emitted in the previous probing – interference of a known structure. Amplitude-detected signals are compared in both channels with a detection threshold set based on noise and corresponding to the given false alarm level. Maximum values of signal amplitudes in the main and additional channels are compared with each other if the detection threshold is exceeded in at least one channel. Decision is made on detection of target, if signal amplitude in main channel is higher than in additional channel, a decision on the effect of anticipatory signal-like interference – if the signal amplitude in the additional channel is higher than in the main channel, a decision on the absence of a target and interference – if the threshold is not exceeded in both channels.

EFFECT: high protection of the radar station from preventive signal-like interference.
